Hattat Holding was founded in 1996 and incorporates 21 companies. There have been very important developments experienced in our country in social and economical lives and also in privatizations. From the economical aspect the inflation rate has reached one digit, and our export rate is increasing rapidly. Privatizations has also gained speed and attracted the attention of both the local and foreign investors. We, as Hattat Holding, attended and won the tenders for operation rights in Zonguldak Kandilli, Amasra and Bartın coal sites, and methane research rights in Zonguldak, Amasra, Bartın and Kastamonu. Turkey imports 20 million ton hard coal each year and pay high amount of foreign currency in return. The aim of Hattat Holding is to produce the hard coal and provide it for the use of Turkish industry, Turkish economy and Turkish people at the most reasonable prices, and to create employment for our people and country. The coal produced in these regions will be sold to cement plants, sugar factories and steel plants, and also used in the power plants that we will build. In these coal fired power plants the coal will be turned into electricity.

Apart from our existing equipment pool, we made investment for 109 new CNC machines in 2006. Our target is to carry our production quality to European level, and to catch up with the modern technological developments in the world.

Hema Endüstri A.Ş. also made big investments in products such as gear set, differential, and transmission. We import these machines and make assembly in Turkey. We have reached the capacity of gear set and transmission production for 1 million vehicles per year. Some of our leading foreign customers are Caterpillar, Perkins, John Deere, Textron dbh, to which we provide engine blocks, cranks, hydraulic pumps and valves. Our local customers are large commercial vehicle producers such as Ford Otosan, Fiat, Tofaş, BMC, Mercedes, Man, Renault, Otocar, Iveco, Otoyol, Crysler Temsa, to which we provide hydraulic steering and brake systems. We also provide hydraulic pumps, valves and hydraulic lifts for most of the agricultural tractors produced in Turkey. Also Hema Endüstri A.Ş. is the local producer and marketer of Valtra tractor, the old name of which is Volvo. And Hema Endüstri A.Ş. exports complete transmission, differential and all of the hydraulic systems to Valtra. Hema Ferrotech Casting Plant which we opened in the middle of 2007 and now in the last phase of the investment will produce 60.000 tons pig and sphero products per year. Products and semi-finished products will be submitted to national and international manufacturing, especially automotive, industry with high technological molding and melting systems and the Plant will be well known brand in all over the world. Integration of casting plant and the biggest CNC manufacturing factory will create a big synergy, and provide produced and finished products to its all customers.

The company has made an agreements for the production of engine, transmission, power pack and suspension systems for tanks, and also an agreement with L3 for the production of American L3 AVDS engines with 750/1050/1250 ile 1500 hp, the production of which will be made in our Çerkezköy Facilities. We made a cooperation agreement with Patria, a company from Finland, for the production of armored vehicle with rubber wheel which we think Turkish Military Forces needs. The agreement for 6*6 and 8*8 armored vehicles needed by Turkish Military Forces has been made and the production will start soon.

Hattat Holding has currently around 3000 employees thanks to whom we achieved success in all of our investments that we start and facilities that we open.
